Cuando todos pensábamos que el Paint había sido totalmente sustituido por otros programas como Photoshop, conocemos a Concha. Esta valenciana se ha hecho famosa gracias a sus dibujos hechos con Paint.
Actualmente, y con apenas 29 publicaciones, casi 170.000 personas le siguen en su cuenta de Instagram para admirar los trabajos que sube. Su última publicación, subida el 2 de mayo, acumula 25.000 likes y 678 comentarios.
Ante este éxito, desde Blacknosaur nos hemos puesto en contacto con ella para conocer cómo empezó todo y saber un poco más sobre la artista que ha cautivado a miles de personas con sus dibujos.
«Me llamo Concha García Zaera. Nací el 12 de Junio de 1930 en Valencia, ciudad en la que he residido mis 87 años. Soy madre de 5 hijos y abuela de 8 nietos. Trabajé hasta 1978 en un laboratorio fotográfico. Y hoy en día me gusta dibujar, ir a mis clases en la Universidad Popular y estar con mi familia»
Así es como Concha se presenta a sí misma: valenciana, madre, abuela, trabajadora y estudiante. No tiene estudios superiores relacionados con con el dibujo pero sí ha hecho tres cursos de pintura al óleo en la Universidad Popular de Nou Moles, en Valencia, en 2007.
Concha empezó a pintar con Paint cuando su marido enfermó, ya que esta circunstancia le obligaba a estar todo el día en casa. A raíz de que sus hijos le regalaran en 2006 un ordenador, descubrió el programa y se aficionó a pintar con él.
La artista valenciana reconoce que no utiliza una tableta gráfica y descarta la posibilidad de utilizar otros programas como Photoshop: «de momento estoy contenta con lo que hago y también estoy acostumbrada al Paint, ya que lo he usado muchos años y estoy agusto con él».
En cuanto a las redes sociales, Concha cuenta que fue una de sus nietas la que le abrió la cuenta de Instagram en Octubre de 2017. «Por aquel entonces yo ya tenía Facebook y hace años que lo manejo yo sola, aunque no conocía Instagram», admite Concha.
Sus nietas insistían en que publicara sus dibujos en Instagram porque tiene muchos almacenados en su ordenador y fueron ellas mismas quienes le han enseñado a manejar la aplicación: «ya voy subiéndo poco a poco yo sola los dibujos, incluso he empezado a hacer stories».
Cuando le preguntamos a Concha por su éxito, ella tiene claro cuáles han sido los dos ingredientes fundamentales: «creo que la gente valora el trabajo que hago con el Paint pero también que una persona de mi edad tenga redes sociales».
Sin embargo, ella no sigue ningún tipo de estrategia en las redes sociales, sino que hace un uso lo más natural posible con el único objetivo de que la gente pueda ver sus dibujos. Además, Concha siempre responde a los comentarios de sus seguidores y muchos de ellos, por otro lado, le preguntan dónde pueden comprar sus dibujos.
Quién sabe si, en un futuro, las obras de arte de esta valenciana de 87 años se convierten en grandes referentes. Lo que está claro es que, gracias a Concha, mucha gente ve con otros ojos Paint y han descubierto las infinitas posibilidades de la herramienta.
